I am Melissa Schroeder. I figured some of you have already heard, but I figured I would post here too of course. I've been published for seven years, but for the first time really, I wanted to try my hand at shifters. Now, those of you who know me well understand that I like a challenge and I am kind of crazy. So, when I saw that Siren opened up a new line, LoveXtreme, I thought it would be perfect for a pack mentality. I chatted with the wonderful owner of Siren and she agreed to let me write under a pen name, Kiera West. Then, Passion, Alaska and the Dillon shifters were born.

I have had a wonderful time writing them. In fact, I have so many ideas planned for the Passion, Alaska Preserve, I cannot wait to find the time to write them. But now some of you understand that while I was writing as Kiera, I was also keeping up Melissa Schroeder's schedule, which was loaded. As of right now, I have written 9 novels, novellas and short stories this year. Jason's Salvation will be number 10. Before the year is out, I should write 4-5 more books under both my names.

Kiera is going to stay with Siren as an exclusive name. So for those Kiera fans out there, make sure to keep your eyes peeled at Bookstrand for my books. I have a lot planned for the coming months including more shifters and another series set in Montana.

Just found out that Rand will be coming out this November, woo hoo. To keep you up with the series, this is Book Five. Of course, that is tentative. Book Six, Jason's Salvation, will be turned in this week so I am crossing fingers for a December release!

I have been so super busy. I have turned in Rand's Craving and should be turning in Jason's Salvation by the beginning of the week. I hope to hear really soon about both of those. I also want to give you a heads up on some other stuff. Many of you met the bears in the last book, Convincing Ethan. You see much more of them Shane's Need, and I promise, there will be a couple books about them. They will not be LoveXtremes, just to warn you. Now, the Leopards...you meet those guys in Shane's book and there is even more of them from now on, will probably end up being a serial book.

I am also starting to plot my first book in the Cherish, Montana series, Loving Lanie. This is just a straight menage contemporary, no shifters, but I thought it would be fun to play with three former Marines who decide to "help" their deceased friend's sister, Lanie, run her ranch. I am already loving the characters as I think about them, so I think the book will be a lot of fun.

Crawling out of the rumble

Hey, folks. I know it has been a long time and I do apologize. I fell ill this winter, as did my youngest, with bronchitis, the viral kind. That put me way behind in writing while we both tried to recover. But, I am happy to say I am back on track. Hopefully, I will be turning in Shane's Need sometime late next week, then Rand's Craving sometime in the next 10 days after that. That will get me a little ahead to turn in one book every month once I get going and there will be regular releases.
I want to thank everyone for being so supportive and all the kind words about my work. Now, back to work.

Yay, I thought today would never get here! I am excited that readers are going to get to meet Eve and her Dillon men. When I came up with the idea, I wasn't sure if I would be able to do it. I have never really written wolves, but this idea would not go away. The Siren LoveXtreme Forever Series books tells the story over several books. The way mine is set up is that you get to meet all the characters in book one, Seducing Their Mate. Then Eve and Noah's love story will be released in March (The Alpha's Fall). Each Dillon man will have his own book where readers get to experience his story with Eve. I am very pleased to announce that Siren Publishing will be releasing my first shifter series, Great Wolves of Passion for their Love Xtreme line. It is a brand new imprint which features stories with one woman and at least five men. My series consists of eight books. There is an introductory book, Seducing their Mate, then each hero will have their own book with her. Then, the story will end with the last book, Claiming their Mate. There is a heavy thread of suspense throughout the whole series.
